Reviewers recommend Olay Foaming Face Wash, Sensitive Skin for those with dry and/or sensitive skin. The formula is oil-free, soap-free and fragrance-free, and users say it gently cleanses away all traces of dirt, oil and makeup, though some say a makeup remover may be needed for heavy eye makeup. While this is true of most facial cleansers, reviewers say stronger cleansers, like Philosophy Purity Made Simple (*Est. $20 for 8 oz.), do a better job of removing heavy makeup though they are not formulated for sensitive skin. Users say Olay doesn't strip the skin of moisture, however. It contains glycerin, which draws moisture to the skin, as well as gentle foaming detergents. Some reviewers say it leaves a slight residue on the skin, but others say rinsing for a tad longer solves the problem.
