The Honeywell HT-900 Turbo Force Air Circulator, also sold as the Super Turbo High Performance Fan, is Honeywell's replacement for the popular and highly rated Honeywell HT-800. The HT-900 is much quieter than the HT-800, but many users say it is also less powerful and not as sturdy. It has three speeds and the fan head tilts to adjust the direction air blows, but some users say the tilt function is tricky to use and the fan sometimes either falls over or winds up blowing air towards the ceiling. Like most fans in this price range, it does not oscillate. If you're willing to spend a bit more money, we found much better overall reviews for the Vornado Compact 530 Air Circulator (*Est. $45).
The Honeywell HT-900 is one of 10 top picks out of 45 fans reviewed by the editors of Real Simple magazine. However, the user reviews we found for this product on Amazon.com and Target.com (close to 100 across both sites) are mixed. We also found a handful of highly detailed reviews for this fan at Viewpoints.com.
