With its stylish design and African sapele wood casing, the Stadler Form Otto floor fan looks more like a piece of furniture than a practical appliance. It has three speeds and minimally adjustable legs but lacks other features like oscillation or tilt adjustments. And users complain that the thin, hoop-shaped wooden frame, though attractive, is not well constructed and bends out of shape easily. The relatively inexpensive -- and much better-rated -- Lasko 3300 20-Inch Wind Machine (*Est. $40) may be a more practical choice, though it's much bulkier and not as attractive.
Although the Stadler Form Otto receives two recommendations in professional reviews, both seem to be based primarily on the fan's stylish design rather than any performance advantage. We did find a handful of user reviews for this fan at Amazon.com.
