Though not burglar-proof, the SentrySafe Combination MSW3110 home safe can be bolted into place to offer some deterrence to all but the most professional or most determined of thieves. The 1.2 cubic feet of internal storage includes some internal organization, including a key rack, adjustable shelf, compartment for small items and a door pocket. Other optional accessories (such as a locking drawer) are also available. The SentrySafe MSW3110 safe is roomy with plenty of space for papers, but it is not huge outside: external measurements are less than 17 inches wide, 18 inches high and 20 inches deep.

The SentrySafe Combination MSW3110 has undergone UL testing and is classified to keep internal temperatures below 350 degrees Fahrenheit for up to one hour in fires up to 1,700 degrees Fahrenheit -- which experts say is plenty for most home fires. The SentrySafe MSW3110 also has some impact resistance -- based on ETL tests that drop the safe 15 feet onto rubble, then retest it for fire resistance. The warranty is for one year (or lifetime replacement after a fire).
