Reviews say that the 7-cup Cuisinart Pro Classic DLC-10S is the best small-sized food processor and does a good job handling the basics. The Cuisinart Pro Classic has a large feed tube and enough power for smaller batches of cookies and kneading bread dough. It's a good size for a small family that doesn't need large capacity or have space on the countertop for a larger food processor. Cuisinart backs this model with a five-year warranty on the motor and a limited three-year warranty on the entire unit. Some owners complain that replacement parts, blades and discs are expensive.

Cook's Illustrated tests the Cuisinart Pro Classic DLC-10S's big brother, the Pro Custom 11 DLC-8S, in its thorough review that puts food processors through their paces. Another review in Cuisine at Home doesn't say if products were tested. Consumer-written reviews at Cooking.com, Amazon.com and Epinions.com point out durability and customer service issues.
