MOMO a gogo, November 15, 2009
Nice feedback wheel, software works well with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Way better than dealing with a 'gamepad'.
Best Value Sim Racing Wheel, November 4, 2009

The Logitech Momo Racing Wheel is a very high quality item behind a very low price point. As a sim racer myself, and a relatively new one at that, i found myself looking for the perfect wheel for my budget a few months back. We only have a few options in the 50 to 150 dollar price range. I found the Momo right away and knowing that logitech is a very reputable brand, i ran with it. The full range of options this wheel gives is simplistic yet fitting. So lets go into specifics. Functionality - 9/10 This wheel has 270 degrees of rotation, 6 face buttons, paddle shifters, moveable sequential shifter, and a pedal board with throttle and brake. First off the 270 degrees of rotation is a turn off to many sim racers. The simple fact is that for under 250 bucks your not going to do any better. It functions just fine in every sim ive raced (which is most all of them). The buttons can be programmed to your liking and have a nice solid clicky feel. Paddle shifters are easy to reach with bear hands like mine. I can see them being an issue for someone with smaller hands. The sequential shifter can be placed left of right and has a solid clicky feel to it. I dont find myself using it too often for its placement is far too close to the wheel. The Pedals are very basic and my least favorite part of this product. They do offer a slip resistence for both carpet (with spike board that pops in and out) and solid floors with rubber feet. All in all the Wheel functions just fine. Force Feedback - 9/10 Force feedback on this wheel is nothing short of incredible. It is fully custimizable and gives the user complete control of feel. Software - 7/10 The software is very simplistic and not very impressive. Truth Be told though i have not seen any better really. Overall 9/10 This wheel comes ready to use and is fully custimizable to the user. If your turned off by the lack of H pattern shifters or a clutch then look toward the 300 dollar price range for a Fanatec or a G25. Its very sturdy for a plastic controller and has a comfortable feel. Perfect for the beginner or the budget minded pro to hit the track and start racing.

MOMO mo', November 1, 2009
makes racing fun... my last wheel had no pedals, trying to steer with one hand on a keyboard was a real pain
Good product, September 9, 2009
Solid construction, works with all games I tried. Autorecognized in the games, no need for tuning. Just plug and play
Great But ......., August 14, 2009

I've been using this wheel for about 2 months now with Test Drive Unlimited and Need For Speed: Most Wanted Black Edition. While it has really helped (tried to use a joystick at first) sometimes it just seems to lose the correct force feed back sensations that you would normally feel in a real car (did some track racing in my S2000). Having all the buttons on the wheel make it easier vs the G25 (2 buttons) which one of my friends has but the G25 has much better "feel" than the Momo. Also, the gas and brake don't seem to be very smooth, seems like it goes from 0 to 35-40 percent in one jump and then it starts to go smooth from there up to 100 percent. One issue I would have with the G25 is the shifter is mounted separate so you need additional desk area. It seems that most people who buy a G25 get a dedicated seating system for mounting the G25 while those that get the Momo just mount it to their computer desk or table (my friend has a play seat which mounts the G25/Shifter/Pedals/Monitor). But for 1/3 the price of a G25 its hard to compare and I feel the Momo to be a much better value.
