Reviews say the Saitek Cyborg EVO is the best budget joystick, whether you're right-handed or left-handed and whether you use a PC or a Mac. Reviewers also note that this game controller is comfortable, and there are enough customizing options to satisfy anyone. But in owner reviews, some users note that the Saitek Cyborg Evo joystick needs continual recalibration, an annoyance. There are five fire buttons, an eight-way hat switch and 3-D twist, but no force feedback (physical reactions by the joystick to screen events).

FiringSquad.com has the best coverage of the Saitek Cyborg EVO game controller. Although it calls itself the "home of the hardcore gamer," the review is not bogged down in jargon, and hands-on testing is very apparent. We found more good coverage for this joystick at TomsHardware.com and at GameZone.com. There's no testing description at About.com, but there is a brief review. The owner reviews at Amazon.com give a good overview of the pros and cons of the Saitek Cyborg EVO joystick.
