Garmin 60csx, November 17, 2009This GPS was a huge improvement from my old Garmin 12. It is easy to navigate around the system. I haven't used it a whole lot yet but so far I really like it. The battery life is exceptional compared to… my old GPS. I don't like the fact that it seems I have to recalibrate the electronic compass every once in a while for it to give me the right direction but other than that I don't have any other complaints.

Within Barber's blog you can find his full review of the similar Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx, which lacks the GPSMAP 60CSx's compass and barometric altimeter. Barber's main complaint with the GPSMAP 60Cx is its lack of accurate elevation readings - a problem he notes the GPSMAP 60CSx's barometric altimeter would solve.
