Though it's not as powerful as the best professional hair clippers, such as the Oster Classic 76 (*Est. $140), the Oster Professional 76023-510 Fast Feed Clipper still strikes a great balance between power, usability and value. Its pivot motor is a notable step above the simpler magnetic motors used in budget hair clippers, such as the Wahl Chrome Pro Deluxe (*Est. $40), giving it the power to handle even heavy use and thick hair. Its relatively light weight makes it comfortable to hold and easy to use. The adjustable blade can cut hair of up to medium length. The four included grooming combs (1/2-inch, 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch and blending) handle the basics, and additional ones can be purchased if needed. The Fast Feed also comes with a blade guard, blade oil and a cleaning brush, but not a case in which to store everything. Reports say that the Fast Feed is quieter than and tends not to run as hot as some other hair clippers.
