The Wahl All-in-One Lithium Ion Trimmer is a jack of all trades but master of none. However, its versatility -- you can use it for just about any head, face and body hair grooming you can imagine -- and rechargeable battery make it great for travel. The storage case is a weak point.

Performance

Does anything -- to a point. Four interchangeable heads and a number of combs and guides mean the Wahl All-in-One can handle just about any head, facial or body hair. This is the perfect accessory for men who travel and want to take just one grooming tool along -- but others wish it focused on fewer tasks in order to excel.

Although users say the clipping head works well, they complain that it's narrow and too loud, hard to get at exactly the right angle, and the guide combs are too sharp. Interestingly, one of the highest points is the nose and ear hair trimmer, which works a lot faster than rotary nose hair trimmers.

Ease of use

Storage case is a weak point. With so many attachments to corral -- including four interchangeable heads, seven guide combs (from 2 mm to 12 mm) and a T-blade -- the Wahl All-in-One's storage case is a weak point. Disappointed users say it's far too light and prone to spilling all the pieces inside. They also complain about hair sticking to the clipper's rubber handle, although this isn't a deal-breaker for most -- just an irritation.
