T3 Tourmaline Professional Featherweight

Professional hair dryer
- Lightweight
- Reduces drying time
- Doesn't damage hair as much as other dryers
- Expensive
Reviewers say that the 1,800-watt T3 Tourmaline Professional Featherweight hair dryer is expensive, but worth it if you use a dryer every day and/or have long hair. All of the dryer's components are infused with crushed tourmaline gemstones, which experts say emit more ions than other minerals and help cut down on frizz. The T3 also has a ceramic coil, which users say prevents hair damage caused by overheating. The T3 Tourmaline Professional Featherweight has two drying speeds, a cool-shot button and a concentrator nozzle. Owner reviewers praise it for weighing less than a pound and for improving the look and condition of their hair, but complain that T3 will not honor the warranty on dryers purchased from unauthorized retailers. For a less expensive hair dryer that also uses tourmaline technology, reviewers recommend the Revlon RV544 Tourmaline Ionic (*Est. $20).
We found the best reviews of the T3 Tourmaline Professional Featherweight at InStyle and Good Housekeeping magazines, where it was tested and compared to other dryers. The CBS program "The Early Show" also provides valuable information as well as an expert opinion of the dryer. Consumer reviews at Amazon.com, TotalBeauty.com and MakeupAlley.com are, for the most part, united in their approval of the T3 hair dryer.
