We only found a handful of owner reviews for the Black & Decker CycloPro, a corded handheld vacuum. In design, this model looks almost exactly like the highly rated cordless Black & Decker Pivot Vac PHV1800 (*est. $70), which gets terrific scores among cordless vacs. Although the look similar, we didn't find enough reviews for the cordless version to tell whether its performance is similar. Among corded vacuums, we found much more feedback for the Black & Decker HV9010P Retriever Pet-Series (*est. $30), which costs less.
Because of the lack of professional reviews or independent testing, owners posting to Amazon.com are the best source of information on the Black & Decker CCV1000 corded handheld vacuum. Even at this site, there are fewer than a dozen reviews. So getting an accurate picture of this hand vac's overall performance is a challenge.
Our Sources
1. Amazon.com
Unlike other Black & Decker hand vacuums, the CCV1000 has only a few reviews at Amazon.com and the ratings are quite varied. There is some good information, though, as some users have taken the time to write extensive descriptions of the CCV1000's strengths and weaknesses.
