Good looking and fuctional (Taller than most), July 15, 2009

I was looking for a counter height chair to be used at our kitchen island. We had been using a clip on seat but our daughter is 15 months and over 20lbs now and I thought she needed a more sturdy seat with foot bar. This is almost tall enough that we could pull it up to the counter. We haven't because we like the high chair's tray and how easy it is to clean and the fact that it pulls in so close to her. It still feels like she is sitting at the island with us when we all eat together. The chair blends in nicely with our kitchen and is small enough to push into the corner when not in use. I agree with other reviewers that the bar in between the baby's legs causes a very tight fit. I would not recommend to someone with a baby measuring very tall (our daughter is about 30 inches tall and fits fine).

awesome product, May 18, 2009

This highchair is one of the best pieces of baby equipment I have purchased during my daughter's first year. It is beautiful, sturdy, and very easy to clean up. It also is just a great fit....it helps your child sit up nice and straight and the tray is just the right height. The plastic tray cover cleans up perfectly and the seat pad machine washes, hang dry, and looks brand new. The only negative comment I have is that the bar between the child's legs should probably have been set out a little further from the child and closer to the edge of the chair, but all the positives outweigh that little complaint. This chair blows away all the plastic pieces of junk that are out there.

Stylish. Great wood finish. Surpisingly easy to clean., May 15, 2009

Okay: You need this as soon as your kid begins to sit. This chair is great to use for feeding and contained my 9 month old son well. Whenever he spits up and make a mess while feeding - this chair is surprisingly easy to clean. There is a plastic cover to the tray that comes off for cleaning. The height is perfect. The bottom has plastic protectors - so you can easily push the chair even on hardwood floors without scratching the surface. The seat cover is machine washable. We're still using it at 14 months now. The finish is still brand new and polished. All in all - a superior product. Well worth the price.

Really nice chair overall - built like a rock, May 10, 2009

The good: This is a nice looking chair. It's VERY sturdy and solid. Seriously, this thing doesn't so much as wobble, so long as you tighten everything correctly. You can use it without the cushions or with just the bottom or top cushions or both. The cushion straps have a decorative bow that sits on the outside of the chair and it looks really good. The plastic overlay for the tray is a nice touch. I like that I can take it off after feeding my babe, so she can play with toys while I clean up. The 3 point harness is great! A 5 point harness on a highchair never made sense to me anyway. It's not like you're going to leave your baby in there unattended and it's just something else to try to scrub clean (been there, done that with my son). The bad: the finish is easily chipped off and the wood is soft. The label on the back leg is ugly; however, it's hidden on the back of the back leg, so it's not too bad. The piece that goes between baby's legs may eventually cause a fit problem; however it's sure nice and secure for the size she is now (19lbs, 26" long, 8 months). There is about 3" clearance without the back cushion. If they made it adjustable, that would have made it very nice. Time will tell if we'll need to cut it off, but I'm hoping not. All in all, I'm very pleased. I wanted wood and sturdy. This offered me some perks beyond what I was looking for.
