  • Good for avid lifters
Cons
  • Bulky and heavy
  • Weight plates not included
  • Assembly takes time
Where to Buy

Reviewers say the Powertec Workbench Multi-Station is a good choice for serious weightlifters who want a sturdy and durable home gym. The gym can accommodate up to three users at one time, and it includes stations for the abdominal crunch, calf raise, incline bench row, triceps extension, shoulder press, squat and shrug, among others. One reviewer calls this Powertec home gym ideal for advanced weightlifters. Another says it is commercial quality that will replicate the workout you can get in a gym.

However, the Workbench Multi-Station does not include weights, which must be purchased separately. In addition, assembly can be frustrating, and the gym is heavy (nearly 500 pounds without weight plates) and takes up a lot of floor space.

The Powertec Workbench Multi-Station is reviewed at About.com and TheHomeGymCritic.com. (Note: ConsumerSearch is owned by About.com, but the two don't share an editorial affiliation.)
