The Harman Kardon HKTS 15 is a small 5.1-channel home theater system that provides good sound quality and pleasing bass. It can't fill a large home theater with sound, but should more than hold its own in a small-to-moderate space. The smallish satellite speakers also won't overwhelm a room like the well-rated Fluance AVHTB+ (*Est. $200), making it a good fit for a living room or family room. If you have a little more to spend, the midpriced Klipsch HD Theater 500 (*Est. $600) is earning raves for its great sound quality and terrific surround-sound performance.
