I can do it all with this., October 29, 2009

After researching and researching and researching I finally picked the Onkyo HT-S6100 7.1 surround sound speaker package. I love it. I currently have my PS3, Ipod, HDTV, and my HD cable box all hooked up to it!! It's all hooked up in HD and it looks and sounds great with all of them. I had a party at my apartment and was playing my Ipod thru it and it BUMPS. It's really easy to set up (all wires are color coded) and it is really easy to use. Granted I am pretty technically savvy, but even if you weren't I don't the set up and use being that hard. I don't see any cons with this product, and I got a refurbished one too and it was in perfect condition.

Amazing Surround Sound, October 18, 2009

I have had my surround sound for a while now, and I love it. This surround sound sounds amazing, and the price is well under what this system is really worth. This adds an entire new dimension to watching movies. I have not had a single problem with this system, and I have had it for over 6 months. This is amazing, as just about every other piece of technology I own is constantly having issues. Fantastic Product, Amazing Value.

Great for the price!, October 2, 2009

This system really hits hard. The satellites are not as clear or as detailed as a good set of $300 monitors, but they are pretty impressive for movies. Positioning is pretty much spot-on. The menu system is incredibly easy to adapt to. Even your grandma that asks you to help her program her VCR could probably figure this thing out. You don't need to output to a TV to use the core menu system, but it is a nice addition. After about two weeks of use, you can point the remote and press a series of buttons without even looking just to change what you want. It's nice! The sub woofer is really good as well. It doesn't become very muddy like cheaper 5.1 system subs do. It's nothing amazing, but it's damn good. The receiver really looks and feels like you paid $800+ for it when you use it. Brushed aluminum everywhere, tons of features and buttons.. even LCD display dimming which helps a ton when you want to fall asleep to a movie! If you want a cost-effective 7.1 system that will knock your socks off when you watch a Blu-Ray movie, get this!

great but maybe enough with lower system, August 21, 2009
so far it is beautiful. not yet try it for long enough with volume level i wanted...if youre crazy about the sound but want to get just a great sound...i think you could go lower than this one. bought samsung HT in a box for $1xx...the difference is not 6x better by paying onkyo $6xx....even though samsung player has its own thing as well.
Great Value!, August 5, 2009

I've been searching all over for a HTIB system that would meet my needs, and after doing some research, decided to go with Onkyo. I have a fairly large living room with high ceilings that extends to my kitchen, so finding a decent home theater system to fill that room and sound decent wasn't easy. I didn't have $2000 to spend on a home theater system, so I had to find the best bang for my buck. This sound system has definitely met my needs, got it on sale for
