No support/won't update, October 29, 2009
When I originally install this if Feb. after using the free trial period online,(bought the CD because it was less than doing it online) it loaded fine and was updating for about 3 months. Now all I get that it cannot not access the update server. It is completely useless.
Will not go this route again.
Very Bad Support, September 9, 2009

Our company has been running this software on 6 machines for a couple of years now and I can tell you that they have some of the worst technical support I've ever experienced. The product itself (until now) has worked relatively well. Both our new and old computers handled the application with no major issue. We did have a couple of minor virus attacks, but I suppose that they could get through just about any antivirus program. We recently started to experience failed updates on 3 of our computers and after unsuccessful assistance with the help department I started to research it alone. It turns out that one of our license packages had been upgraded to a newer version and that somehow was affecting the other 3 computers, which were still well within their expiration dates. My only option was to purchase a new download early. I tried everything to get someone to help me. The telephone people told me they would e-mail me something and never did, the e-mail people told me that I should contact telephone support. It is an extremely frustrating experience and I would not recommend their product because of this.

Only Buy if You Like to Reinstall, and Reinstall, and Reinstall Again, July 29, 2009

I'm about to remove and reinstall this product once again; it seems that I need to reinstall it about once a month (although that's probably a SLIGHT exaggeration). Once it's reinstalled, it works great until I get another Microsoft Security Update, and then I always worry that it's going to need another reinstall. So, here I go again... I'll probably keep using it though, since it's better, when it works, than Norton products are...

Works well, June 3, 2009

I've used Panda internet protection software for 2-3 years now and like it better than McAfee and the other products. Plus, buying from amazon lowers the cost and each box you buy allows you to use the software on up to 3 machines. So it's a good deal. If you buy it, don't renew it through panda, just buy it again from amazon for the best rate. You'll like this product -it's much more clear and easy to use than it's competitors products.

EXCELLENT, May 30, 2009
I first bought panda internet security in 2007 because the company I worked for supported it and have loved it every since, WAAAAAY BETTER THAN NORTON OR MCAFEE!

1. PCMag.com

PCMag has extensive coverage of nine internet security suites including Panda Global Protection 2009, which adds online backup and some tune-up utilities to the more basic Panda Internet Security 2009 suite. Neil J. Rubenking is fairly complimentary about Panda's overall performance but finds the spyware filtering and tune-up utilities uninspiring.

2. PC World

PC World rates and compares nine internet security suites including Panda Internet Security 2009. According to Erik Larkin, "Panda's offering has a good interface and provides the fastest on-access scan speed of the suites we tested in this roundup, but its decent-though-unspectacular malware detection prevents it from being a top pick."

3. CNET

CNET reviewer Rober Vamosi has the most enthusiastic review of Panda Internet Security 2009. He argues that this year's version is a significant improvement over last year's, with better performance and a nicer interface.

4. Which.co.uk

Which? magazine's internet security software roundup is based on solid testing, but reviews are perfunctory and lacking in technical detail. Editors say Panda Internet Security 2009 is a solid suite that hasn't changed much since the 2008 release.

5. Amazon.com

Panda Internet Security 2009 gets a handful of reviews here, with ratings spread all over the map. A small plurality gives it a perfect score. Panda Global Protection 2009 is also reviewed here. Though the number of reports is similar, satisfaction seems notably higher.
