Love it so far!, October 10, 2009

I just purchased a Touch 64g (3rd Gen) and the Logitech speakers and I wasn't sure they would be compatible but they totally are. I have only had it for a few days and I love it. It sounds so good! I went to an electronics store and tested a few units and this model was the best in its price range by far! I think the bass sounds great, I set the EQ on my ipod to get the best results. It has a full, clear sound compared to many other speaker units out there. I get little to no distortion and if I do its only when it is at full blast. It comes with a nice travel case and I love that it has a rechargeable bettery. I havent tested it out yet but when I do I will update my review. So far no complaints! I highly recommend these speakers!

Very Happy So Far, October 2, 2009

I was looking for a small IPod docking speaker system for my bedroom, and came across this system, I bought the refurbished option and have no complaints. So far I've been very satisfied with the purchase, it's compact, sounds really good for its size, it won't blow your socks off but does provided a very good sound. I have not tried using it on battery power yet so I can't comment of the battery life. If I have one complaint it would be that the end of the plug that plugs into the wall is huge so it pretty much makes it impossible to plug in behind a piece of furniture so keep that in mind depending on where you are planning to keep it.

Portable and easy to use., October 1, 2009

If you are looking for something that sounds great, is portable and easy to use, this is it. It may not have big booming bass (these are small speakers after all). It does however have some bass. Great for keeping plugged into the wall in the room or kitchen. Then my kids will usually unplug the speakers and take them outside to listen to music. I don't have to worry about changing dead batteries every other day. Sound Quality- Excellent. Again, no earth shaking bass. However, I can hear the bass from this thing from inside the house when the kids are listening to it outside. I have a decent stereo setup and was not expecting great sound from these. Some other (portable) speakers sounded tinny. There were others that had better bass, but lacked the portabilty and sound quality of these. Portabilty- Again, built in rechargeable battery. Yeah, its not a good thing that if the unit goes dead you cannot change the batteries. I have not run into that problem, yet. Ease of use- The speakers themselves offer basic controls (power, volume and shuffle). The best part is the remote. It can control everything on the ipod. Many other speaker system remotes do not offer full function remotes. Overall-Although these speakers are not loud enough to rock a big party, they are above my expectations as far as sound quality goes for compact and portable speakers. Add in the full function remote and the handy travel case and your set.

Great product!, September 28, 2009
The speakers are great and they are just like new. It took awhile to get to me but I did opt for the free shipping. I would buy from this supplier again.
Compact Speakers for Ipod, September 25, 2009
I enjoy these new speakers that I recently purchased very much. Construction is superb, sound quality very good, and the battery life we most appreciate. Logitech has always produced excellent products so the quality in this product was not a surprise to me.

1. iLounge.com

The iLounge rates many speakers, so when it grades the Logitech Pure-Fi an "A," it's in context with many other products. Reviewer Jeremy Horwitz notes that it offers "wide, dynamic sound at average to above-average volume levels," with better clarity and range than similarly priced competitors.

2. Macworld

The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere earns four stars out of a possible five from Macworld. Frakes says its sound quality is still good compared with most systems of this size, but it falls short of its predecessor, the mm50. (The new one, however, offers a universal dock and an improved remote.)

3. CNET

This rankings list links to a full review for each speaker. The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere ranks sixth among the 12 here, with "great sound" for the price and an "innovative" wall charger. The negative is that it's not as portable as its rivals.

4. Audioholics.com

Clarke believes that the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere is very good and very portable --and that it "sounds big." But it's overpriced, he says, and the remote control is "cheap."

5. Amazon.com

More than 100 owner reviews give the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere a good average score, with nearly 80 percent giving it a four or the maximum five. Complaints are few, but the most common are about poor battery life and that it's not loud enough.
