Most parents and professional reviewers give the Baby Jogger City Mini high marks. The stroller is noted for its quick, easy one-handed fold, excellent maneuverability and lightweight frame. Reviewers say that the stroller is ideal for traveling, thanks to its tight collapse. Owners also appreciate that, while the storage space is limited, it is greater than that for comparable models such as the Quinny Zapp. Reviewers do note that the stroller lacks any additional accessories; parent trays, belly bars and upholders all must be purchased separately. In several reviews, the seat is said to be uncomfortable for some children because the seat cannot sit fully upright and has limited back support. Baby Jogger has made adjustments for the 2011 model to remedy this issue, including a removable back support pad and an additional upright position. Parents should note that Baby Jogger issued a voluntary recall in 2009 on strollers sold between November 2007 and February 2009, because of a faulty restraint buckle. The company offers a free replacement buckle for these strollers, but parents should be aware of possible problems with strollers that were made and bought during that time period.
The Baby Jogger City Mini has less formal reviews than many of its sister models in the Baby Jogger line. Owner reviews, however, are plentiful. BabyGizmo.com has the most complete review of the Baby Jogger City Mini, though it's more than 2 years old. Buzzillions.com has compiled 280 owner reviews, with several of them providing detailed feedback regarding the positives and negatives of the stroller. Amazon.com also has 65 owner reviews, with a large majority ranking the stroller very highly.
