The Baby Trend Expedition LX all-terrain stroller gets mixed marks in professional and user reviews. Those who like the stroller say it's roomy and easy to maneuver. However, others say the Baby Trend Expedition LX is difficult to fold. The Baby Trend Expedition LX has a swiveling front wheel that locks in place for rough terrain. (An older version had a fixed 16-inch front wheel.) For maneuvering in store aisles, experts say strollers with a swiveling front wheel are easier to use. Parents on several different websites say this stroller has wobbly wheels and poor tracking, although one or two of them appear to have been attempting to jog without first locking the front wheel. Experts give better reviews to the budget Jeep Liberty Sport Urban Terrain (*est. $120).
The Baby Trend Expedition LX is covered by "Baby Bargains" and ConsumerReports.org. Editors at Baby-Gaga.com look at an earlier version with a fixed front wheel. Owner-written reviews at ToysRUs.com and Amazon.com complete the picture with some parent perspectives.
