- Easy to fold
- Comfortable padded seat
- Adjustable handlebar
- Bulky
- Doesn't ride as smoothly as other strollers
- Very low weight limit
The Bumbleride Indie is a popular all-terrain stroller that receives good reviews from experts and owners. In particular, the Bumbleride Indie attracts attention for numerous comfort features that parents like, including a cushy padded seat, four-point recline and foot rest. Owners also say the Bumbleride Indie is very stable and provides a smooth ride over varied terrain. Like other all-terrain strollers, the front wheel swivels, but can be locked into position for better tracking and stability. The adjustable handlebar also earns praise. However, reviewers point out several downsides to the Bumbleride Indie. It's expensive, and the 45-pound weight limit is uncommonly low for an all-terrain stroller. In comparison, the BOB Revolution (*est. $390) and the Mountain Buggy Urban Single (*est. $550) have 70- and 77-pound weight limits, respectively.
We found the best reviews of the Bumbleride Indie at Cookie magazine and Babble.com. Both publications use testers to evaluate the all-terrain stroller, and Cookie magazine rates it on several criteria. "Baby Bargains" mentions the Bumbleride Indie briefly, but also provides a detailed review of the Bumbleride brand in general. Pregnancy magazine reviews the Bumbleride Indie very briefly, but it doesn't appear that the magazine tested the stroller.
