The Kelty Speedster Jogging Stroller handles all types of terrain with ease, including bumpy roads, reviewers say. While the seat doesn't adjust, it is angled for comfort, and a runaway leash and rear brake-lock system offer added safety for joggers. Reviewers say the storage basket under the seat is more than adequate, and parents appreciate the canopy, which they say provides ample shade. A water bottle holder is also included. The Kelty Speedster Fixed does not have a front-swiveling wheel, although a few newer models -- the Deuce, Deluxe and Swivel -- do offer this feature and have more owner-written coverage.
ConsumerReports.org doesn't cover the Kelty Speedster Fixed in its roundup, although it does include the Kelty Speedster Deluxe, a similar model, so ratings are still useful. Consumer advocates Denise and Alan Fields discuss the Speedster in their latest edition of the popular baby-gear book "Baby Bargains," however, they tend to rate manufacturers overall instead of individual stroller models. We found one individual product review on MomFuse.com, but available consumer reviews seem to only cover the Deuce, Deluxe and Swivel models.

Dozens of strollers are tested and rated in ConsumerReports.org's roundup. The Kelty Speedster Deluxe, which is slightly different from the traditional Kelty Speedster, is included. Strollers are given ratings for ease of use, maneuverability and safety, and the size of the stroller when folded.

Jessica Fuqua says she was a jogger prior to having her twins, so she reviews the Speedster from a runner's perspective. The Speedster handles bumpy terrain well, has ample storage underneath and adjustable handles to accommodate taller caregivers, she says.
