The Teutonia stroller line, which includes the all-terrain t-200 series, is getting a lot of buzz on baby blogs and parenting websites. This German-made stroller line is fully customizable, and parents can select their own chassis, seat, wheels, colors and optional accessories. The Teutonia t-200 series offers the only all-terrain chassis, and while it's not meant for jogging, the swiveling front wheel can be locked for better tracking over uneven terrain. Two options are available, the t-250, which has smooth, skinny tires, or the t-260, which has more rugged wheels. Both strollers have 11-inch wheels in the rear and a 9.5-inch swiveling wheel in the front. Reviewers say this stroller "feels indestructible," and it scores highly on durability and ease of use. The biggest downside? All the customization comes at a price. Once you select all the various components, your stroller will probably cost at least $650, or much more. Depending on the configuration, the Teutonia t-200 series is also very heavy and takes up a lot of room, even when folded. There are other all-terrain strollers that are lighter and cost much less, including the top-rated BOB Revolution (*Est. $390), but it can't be custom configured.

We found the best reviews of the Teutonia t-200 series strollers at Cookie magazine, which evaluates the stroller in two separate reviews. In both reviews, the Teutonia stroller is rated on several criteria, and the magazine's 2009 stroller guide provides a balanced and detailed overview. "Baby Bargains" also provides a detailed overview of the Teutonia strollers in their eighth edition. Since this line was recently introduced, owner reviews are not as abundant.

The Teutonia is the only stroller to make it into Arizona Parenting magazine's annual gift guide under the heading "stuff we love." It doesn't appear that the stroller was tested, but the editors like the customizable features and the canopy with built-in SPF protection.
