Zooper Zydeco

Pros
  • Reversible seat
  • Comfortable seat that fully reclines
  • Easily adjustable handlebar
Cons
  • Heavy and bulky
  • Expensive
  • Hard to push
  • No cup holder
  • Difficult to tighten straps

Reviewers say the three-wheeled, all-terrain Zooper Zydeco jogging stroller is a very good luxury stroller overall, but it ultimately loses the race due to its heavy, 28-pound frame. High points in reviews are seating versatility and smooth ride, along with a large storage compartment, swivel wheels and fully reclining seat. Some parents say the Zooper Zydeco jogging stroller can be more difficult to push with one hand than the Phil & Ted's e3 three-wheeled stroller (*est. $380). Weight and size remain big issues; users suggest the Zooper Zydeco is best left unfolded in a garage or other storage area.

We found the most useful review of the Zooper Zydeco three-wheeled stroller at JoggingStroller.com, where ratings are based on parent interviews and hands-on testing. We also found a handful of useful parent-written reviews in the forum section at BabyBargains.com and at Epinions. Consumer Reports hasn't yet tested the Zooper Zydeco jogging stroller.

1. JoggingStroller.com

JoggingStroller.com is a nicely organized site that features lots of specifications and some reviews. Overall, editors are pleased with the Zooper Zydeco, citing its locking, front-swivel wheels and its great accessories, including a rain cover and bug screen. Although the Zooper Zydeco is described as the "Cadillac of all-terrain swivel-wheel strollers," this comment cuts two ways, as the editors also say the Zydeco's weight is a major disadvantage.

Owners say the Zooper Zydeco's best features include its front swivel wheel, comfortable seat and detachable infant bed. However, some users say this stroller is overpriced and difficult to use because of its heavy weight.
