- Wide chute
- Attractive
- Sturdy and stable, with non-slip feet
- Most parts are dishwasher-safe
- Housing mostly plastic
- Too tall for some countertops
- Some motor-failure complaints
- Exterior can stain
Reviewers say that the 850-watt Breville Juice Fountain Plus JE95XL juicer is an excellent juicer, with a large food chute and a powerful, two-speed motor. It does an equally good job with both fruits and vegetables. Although this juicer has numerous fans among owners, we read some scattered reports of motor failure, and because the exterior housing is plastic, beet and carrot juice can stain it.
We read reviews of the Breville Juice Fountain Plus JE95XL at the websites of two consumer publications: New Zealand's Consumer and Britain's Which? magazines. This is the juicer that Consumer magazine recommends most, and Which? calls this juicer a best buy. The Breville Juice Fountain Plus JE95XL juicer has also accumulated well over 100 reviews at Amazon.com.

2. Consumer magazineDetails/Subscribe
Editors at Consumer, a New Zealand magazine that's similar to ConsumerReports.org, test seven juicers for performance, ease of use and quality of the juice. Breville machines, whose U.S. equivalents are the Breville Juice Fountain Plus JE95XL and Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL, earn the highest ratings, with the Breville Juice Fountain Plus JE95XL named the better value.

3. Food & Wine MagazineDetails/Subscribe
Editors don't reveal exactly how many juicers they tested, although they say that they tested dozens of countertop appliances before selecting their favorites. The Breville Juice Fountain Plus JE95XL is a runner-up here. Editors like the fact that it has two speeds, but they say it works better when food is pre-chopped.
