Wireless desktop set
- Wireless with a good range
- Rechargeable mouse
- Ergonomic key layout
- Programmable buttons
- Expensive
This desktop duo of the Logitech Wave keyboard and MX 1100 mouse do well in reviews. Experts note that it's unusual to have a good keyboard and good mouse paired together. The Logitech MX 1100 wireless mouse is not reviewed as often as the Wave cordless keyboard, since the Wave keyboard can be found in multiple desktop sets, and the MX 1100 mouse is not nearly so ubiquitous. The Wave keyboard is a reviewer favorite. It's not quite ergonomic and therefore doesn't have a steep learning curve, but it is more comfortable than the average plank keyboard. The keys are responsive and the model performs well overall.
ExtremeTech.com is the only reviewer we found that reviews the Wave Pro duo, the set that includes the Wave keyboard and MX 1100 mouse. Jeremy Atkinson uses a series of tests to determine their quality and writes a comprehensive, balanced, comparative review of the set. DigitalTrends.com, TrustedReviews.com and HardwareLogic.com all review the Wave keyboard.

Jeremy Atkinson points out that keyboard-and-mouse desktop sets are not always a great deal, with one peripheral often much superior to the other. In the end, he is pleased with the performance of the Logitech desktop set, giving the duo a rating of four out of five.

Justin Yu calls the Desktop Wave Pro "one of the best mouse and keyboard packages on the market," praising its comfortable design and customizable features. In a separate review, the accompanying mouse, the MX 1100 receives an Editors' Choice award.
Review: Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Pro, Justin Yu, Oct. 20, 2008
This review covers a lower-market Wave keyboard-and-mouse set; the keyboard is the same one bundled in the Wave Pro package, but the mouse is different. The curved design is described as comfortable, but Josh Norem dislikes the key feel and is disappointed to be unable to find advertised Vista-compatible convenience functions. He rates the keyboard a 7.5 out of 10.
