Parent reviewers at Walmart.com and Amazon.com say that the Huffy Pro Thunder for boys and Disney Princess for girls are amazingly durable for their price. Both bikes are available in 12- and 16-inch sizes, and kids seem to really like them, according to reviews. Parents say that the bikes are easy to assemble, although they do complain that the included instructions are not very clear. A few reviewers state that the bike had to be returned because it was either missing parts or one of the pedals continually fell off, but the majority says the bike is a good buy. Experts, however, are more apt to recommend bikes that are sold at specialty shops, like the Schwinn Aerostar/Stardust (*Est. $130), because they have higher-quality components and are more likely to be assembled correctly.

The best reviews for the Huffy Pro Thunder/Disney Princess 16-inch bike come from users posting to Walmart.com and Amazon.com. Walmart.com alone lists more than 200 reviews from parents. About.com also recommends popular bikes for both girls and boys, but none of them are ranked or compared with others.
