Good for the price., November 19, 2009
They're knives. They cut. What more could you want for this price? I've had this set for almost a year and no rust - still sharp.
Great, sharp, durable knives, November 10, 2009
i received this knife block set over a year ago, and they are still very sharp. as long you take care of them properly (use the steel before and after use, handwash, do an actual sharpening after extensive use) these knives should go a long way. they are a great value and i recommend them strongly

These knives are terrible., September 15, 2009
I am very disappointed with these knives. They were dull out of the box and never have held an edge after multiple sharpenings. The blades are too thin.
Hard to imagine a better value, August 29, 2009

I've used an older set of Oxo Good Grips knives (without the steak knives) for years and still love them. I especially like the security and comfort of the non-slip grip. They are easy to keep sharp and the block is very attractive and coordinates with my maple cabinets. I wash and dry them by hand and there is not a speck of rust or discoloration on the knives. I've purchased newer sets for vacation condos we own and they hold up very well under the abuse of short term renters. I recently purchased a set for my sister and she thinks they are a great combination.

OUTSTANDING!, July 2, 2009

Oxo makes THE MOST COMFORTABLE knives on the planet at a REASONABLE PRICE!!! I LOVE this set. I would have preferred to pay a tad more and have ALL the available slots filled. (2 are open and a large area, for I am guessing, herb shears, is in the front of the wood block). I will complete the set on my own. Regardless the knives are SHARP and EXTREMELY comfortable to use besides looking fantastic! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
