Although it has excellent laptop padding, the briefcase-style Brenthaven MetroLite II laptop bag manages to look both professional and trendy. Many computer briefcases are too slim to hold any accessories, but the MetroLite has a well-organized front pocket (for a charger and mouse) plus a back pocket for a few files. It comes in two sizes and several colors, with a padded nonslip shoulder strap. If you need to carry more, consider for the BBP Hybrid laptop bag (*est. $95), which can be used as a handled bag, a backpack or a messenger bag. We found it had the best reviews overall.

We found the best review of the Brenthaven MetroLite II at PC Magazine, where the preceding model, the Metro, is recommended as the most stylish of the top laptop bags. A video review at Geekanoids, a blog, shows much more detail, as if you were examining the bag in person, and owners review and rate it at Amazon.com, AppleStore.com and eBags.com.
