NotebookReview.com's reviews are among the best on the Internet. Discussion is detailed and testing is comparative. The only shortfall is that laptops like the Dell XPS M1730 aren't rated, but conclusions about pluses and minuses are made crystal clear.
Review: Dell XPS M1730 Review, Charles P. Jefferies, Nov. 12, 2007
Because it is translated from the author's native German, this report on the Dell XPS M17230 is a tough read, but it's worth getting through it. Testing is the most comprehensive to be found anywhere, and this is one of the few reviews to report on performance with Dell's latest dual-video-card option.
Review: Review Dell XPS M1730 with 8800M GTX SLI, J. Simon Leitner, March 12, 2008
PCMag.com's reporting isn't as detailed as those above, but covers important considerations and includes the results of benchmark testing. The magazine honors the Dell XPS M1730 with an Editors' Choice award.
Review: Dell XPS M1730, Cisco Cheng, Sept. 27, 2007
