When it was current and available, reviews had nice things to say about the HP L2045w 20-inch LCD computer monitor, which provided better than average display of text, graphics, video and games on its widescreen. Government Computer News, a review source serving government office workers, said that the HP L2045w was a great for office use, and another review noted the small tray at the base that can hold things like paper clips. Reviews at the time said color and grayscale accuracy was very good. This monitor might be a good deal if you find it on eBay. Among current 20-inch LCD monitors, the Samsung SyncMaster 2053BW (Discontinued) is top rated in our most recent ConsumerSearch report.

We found the best review at Government Computer News, which not only rates the HP L2045w's text display but its video capability. PC Magazine, XbitLabs.com and DigitalTrends.com also provide thorough testing and analysis.
