The 24-inch HP LP2475w uses a high-quality H-IPS panel, which makes it a good choice for graphics and photo work. Native resolution is 1,920 pixels by 1,200 pixels, which is high enough to display high-def without scaling, and an HDMI input is included for watching video from a DVD or Blu-ray Disc player as well as from the PC. You'll also find a DisplayPort input for connecting the LP2475w to the latest iMacs, as well as MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops. Pixel response is fast enough for satisfactory gaming, and even small text looks great, making the LP2475w a big, beautiful and expensive monitor for just about any use, though it is starting to be outclassed by newer competitors.
The HP LP2475w has been extensively reviewed. The best reports are at TFT Central and Bit-tech.net. Shorter but still useful reviews are available from Macworld and TrustedReviews.com.
