It doesn't vacuum leaves, but it's quiet and very light (only 5.5 pounds). The main drawback is that work sessions are limited to about 10 or 15 minutes, then the battery will need about three hours to recharge. If you have other Black & Decker nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery-powered tools, however, the batteries are interchangeable. The warranty is for two years.
