The Travelpro Crew 8 22-inch Expandable Rollaboard Suiter costs nearly $100 less than the top-rated Eagle Creek Tarmac 22 (*Est. $280), yet it offers a surprising wealth of features for the money. At 14 by 9 by 22 inches, it's the same size as the Eagle Creek bag, and just the right size to meet the maximum carry-on limits for most airlines (though it can be expanded to 11.5 inches deep if necessary). It also includes an assortment of external and internal pockets (including a hidden stash pocket for cash or documents) and a removable, padded suit sleeve -- features not found on the pricier Eagle Creek bag. However, some users are dissatisfied with this bag's durability. Users who owned older Travelpro bags say the quality of the Crew line has dropped significantly, with flimsier fabrics and handles that tend to stick or break. Users who have never owned a Travelpro bag before, however, seem satisfied with the Crew 8's quality. The Travelpro Crew 8 Expandable Rollaboard Suiter also comes in a smaller 20-inch size (*Est. $150), which includes a handy "business organizer" pocket with compartment for a laptop and smartphone.
