Travelpro is the original wheeled luggage invented by a Northwest pilot in 1987, and airline employees say it's still a favorite among them. Reviewers say the Travelpro Crew7 22-inch Expandable Rollaboard Suiter is a maximum-size carry-on with lots of compartments, including a removable garment bag and big outside pockets on both the front and back. However, some reviewers say it's not as good as earlier Travelpro Crew carry-ons: it feels heavy, the suiter can be hard to use, the pockets can throw the bag off-balance when they're loaded, and several owners complain that the telescoping handle jammed or broke shortly into the bag's life. Travelpro's limited lifetime warranty covers defects (including the defective handles, owners report), but not damage or wear.

Owner reviews of the Travelpro brand at eBags.com, LuggageOnline.com, Amazon.com and FlyerTalk.com are the most helpful and up-to-date that we found. Two professional review sources -- Real Simple magazine and TheTravelInsider.info -- both recommend earlier versions of the Travelpro Crew7 carry-on, but they don't give much information about the bag.
