Bergad Isoform Classic Mattress

pros
  • Cheaper than other foam mattresses
  • Comfortable, according to some users
cons
  • Some find foam mattresses uncomfortable
  • Isoform only sold online

We read many online reviews by owners to the effect that the low-cost Bergad Isoform Classic mattress is comparable in comfort to the Tempur-Pedic Classic foam mattress (*Est. $1,900 queen size, including foundation). There's a big catch, however -- you can't test this foam mattress before you buy because the Isoform is only available online. For this reason, you should be very confident that you want a foam mattress, which some reviewers say can be squishy in hot weather, firm in cold weather or just plain uncomfortable for sleepers unused to this type of mattress. Bergad offers a 90-day trial period, but you'll have to pay the shipping costs both ways, which vary according to location.

The Bergad Isoform mattress -- as well as foam mattresses in general -- are discussed by Good Housekeeping, as well as the mattress blogs SleepLikeTheDead.com and MyFoamMattress.net.
