The Kenmore 6633 is a midsize countertop microwave with a 1.2-cubic-foot capacity. Available only in black, it measures 22 inches wide and is backed by a one-year warranty. The Kenmore 6633 has 1,200 watts of cooking power, plus sensor cooking and electronic touchpad controls that owners say are easy to use. This microwave also gets high marks from professionals and users for its even heating and defrosting (although one review notes that the popcorn setting isn't very accurate). However, some users find the display hard to read and say that the door has a flimsy feel. We also read a couple of complaints about microwaves that broke down anywhere from two months to three years after purchase. For a more reliable model that isn't much smaller, consider the 1-cubic-foot GE Profile SpaceMaker II PEM31 (*Est. $220) . If you are looking for a larger microwave, we found good reviews for the 2.2-cubic-foot GE Profile JES2251SJ (*Est. $275) .

However, it is also included in the current microwave reviews at ConsumerReports.org, which thoroughly reviews more than 55 large and midsized countertop models and presents the results in an easy-to-read chart. The microwave also earns a B grade from the Good Housekeeping Research Institute, which summarizes its test results for 21 countertop microwaves on the Good Housekeeping website.
