The 2.7-cubic-foot Kenmore 92779 is a mid-sized, compact refrigerator with a small enclosed freezer section in the refrigerator compartment. It has 2-liter bottle storage in the door, but otherwise limited features. The small freezer, which performs poorly in tests, must be defrosted manually, but if you really want a model with a small freezer, you can at least freeze a small tray of ice cubes (though it will take a while). Two removable wire shelves are included, but they are not adjustable, and there is no can dispenser or crisper. The Kenmore mini fridge is available in black only. This model is not Energy Star-rated and uses an estimated 325 kWh per year.
The Kenmore 92779 is included in ConsumerReports.org's annual refrigerator roundup. We also found a few dozen owner reviews for this model at Sears.com.
