The 2.5-cubic-foot Sanyo SR-2570 is a mid-sized mini fridge that includes a small freezer compartment in the main cavity. Features include a can dispenser and 2-liter bottle storage in the door, but the shelves are wire (instead of glass) and are not adjustable. They do slide out for easy access, however. The manual-defrost freezer performs poorly in tests, but this is the case with nearly all freezers in single-door compact refrigerators. Owners say this Sanyo mini fridge works well, but we read several complaints that it emits a high-pitched hum while running that some find annoying. It is available in white (SR-2570W), black (SR-2750K), black with a platinum finish door (SR-2750M) and wood grain (SR-2750X). This mini fridge is not Energy Star-rated and uses an estimated 303 kWh per year.
