Not for dry skin, June 8, 2009

I bought this product with the rest of the kit but in full size. What a disappointment. It irritated my skin so much that I was up all night itching and it became red, dry and bumpy and very irritated. This I am sure is a good product but it didn't work for my skin. I am not usually sensitive to anything I apply on my face and is surprised by the reaction. I chatted with the representative at [...] who advised me that the irritation is unusual and to discontinue. What they don't tell you when you purchase this is that it may not be suited for dry skin with acne as it causes even more drying. All though the packaging says suited for all skin types, it is really not so.

No More Acne!, May 18, 2009
This moisturizer is by far the best I have ever used. I plan on ordering more once my current portion runs out!

i love clinique and the lotion works really well ,it keeps your skin hydrated without an oily look or feel, helps clear skin. i could actually notice a difference in my blemishes within a month or so. the reaon why i gave this a 4 is because the smell is horrid, but alot of face products do smell odorous. and if you put too much of the lotion on it it crumbles up and you would have to wait a while before you put on the foundation.

Our Sources

1. Beautipedia.com

Paula Begoun rates Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer as "very good," calling it one of the most "state-of-the-art benzoyl peroxide lotions available today." She raves that it "contains oodles of good-for-skin ingredients" but does not ultimately choose the moisturizer as a top pick because it includes peppermint extract -- a potential skin irritant she says is unnecessary.
