Much more than I expected. Absolutely love it., November 24, 2009
I can't believe something so small could hold so many songs and play in the very same quality from cd or pc. I no longer need my car stereo or cd. Plus I can take it with me with headphones or portable speakers. I absolutely love it!!
Listen to audio books on this, November 18, 2009
I got it to download audio books from R.E.A.D.S. It's easy to load. If you miss some of the audio, you have to go back to the beginning of the part instead of just backing up a few minutes. I don't like that but this is the first player of this type I've ever used so they may all be like this. I like the size the sound quality.
Good Product, November 13, 2009

The Sansa Clip works just fine. I'm a Mac user, so when I attach the Sansa Clip to my USB hub, it shows on my desktop as an external drive, and that's how I wanted it. The interface /menu is fairly easy to learn and use, though there are not real instructions included for this. I like the fact that the battery is inside the device and is recharged when you attach the device to your computer. I use the Sansa Clip when I work out at the gym and it's been working well. It's easy to clip onto my sweatshirt. I replaced the ear buds that were included (which worked perfectly well) with regular head phones, as I'm not keen on possible hearing loss.

Not bad, November 7, 2009

This is a good little mp3 player. The sound quality is not bad. It holds enough songs for my use (i.e. the gym, mowing the lawn). The player doesn't freeze up when I'm running. My only issue is with the way the earbuds plug into the player. Because the player is so small, the plug doesn't go all the way in. So the metal part sticks out and if you run hard and the wire jiggles too much it falls out. A disappointment because everything else on this little thing is great. However the issue is not severe enough that I would return it. It works for now. I just tuck the wire into my shirt so it isn't flinging around while I'm running.

Love it, November 1, 2009

I am 65 and hard of hearing. This is my first mp3 player...and I love this little gadget. For the first time in years, I can hear clearly different tones and instruments...this has enabled me to enjoy the richness of music again. I also use it to watch movies online. I can actually hear what the actors are saying and hear and enjoy the background music. I didn't realize what I had been missing. What fun I am having with my new mp3. I am certainly not an audiophile and not qualified to judge the sound quality against other players, but the price is great and the product is perfect for my needs. It is also easy to use and I love the little attached clip, makes it so easy to clip onto the front of a shirt.

This report, which was updated in Nov. 2008 to reflect a firmware upgrade that increased file compatibility, is nicely detailed. Jasmine France says sound quality is great, features are plentiful and value is high. Poor FM reception and problems with connection to Rhapsody are named negatives.

2. PCMag.com

Buggy bundled software and "horrible" earbuds aren't enough to offset the value provided by the SanDisk Sansa Clip, according to this testing-backed review. Sound quality and good features make the overall picture even more attractive.

At last look, 400 customers weigh in on the 1 GB SanDisk Sansa Clip, and the results are an impressive 4.5 out of five stars. Charging issues seem to be the most consistent complaint among unhappy buyers.
