For a budget-priced printer, the Brother MFC-J825DW packs in an amazing variety of features. In addition to its built-in fax, it has a 3.3-inch LCD display, PictBridge and web connectivity, a wide range of memory card slots, and both wired and wireless networking options. It can also print CDs and DVDs, a feature many MFPs lack. However, this printer gets mixed reviews when it comes to speed and quality. One reviewer says it's fairly fast, but images come out a bit grainy; another finds the print quality excellent but complains that long warm-up times and slow network speeds can slow printing considerably. Nonetheless, reviewers consider it a great value for the price. If you have more to spend, however, you can get better speed and quality from the Canon Pixma MX882 (*Est. $150).
