Mozy gets the best reviews among online backup services for storing your computer files, and MozyPro is top of the Mozy line. It's much faster than the cheaper MozyHome (MozyHome Free: 2 GB per month, MozyHome Unlimited (*est. $5 per month), though still slow enough that PC World's review says it may be "weeks" before your first backup is complete. MozyPro is cheaper than competing similar services, it's compatible with PCs and Macs and there's an encryption device that reviewers like. Experts say it's simple enough to use, but an April 2008 roundup in PC Magazine says the other four services are easier to use. MozyPro does not allow for file sharing. If you have multiple users needing access, reviewers suggest IBackup (*est. $10 per month for 5 GB; $20 per month for 10 GB; $50 per month for 50 GB).

Most reviews are geared to home users, and thus focus on MozyHome rather than MozyPro. PC World is an exception. We found reviews for the less full-featured MozyHome at PC Magazine, Information Week, ArsTechnica.com, Web User magazine and TomsHardware.com. Consumer Reports has a brief report. PC Magazine's is the most recent and best. It also has a handful of user comments, as does PC World.
