Though owners say it's noisy, they also note that it doesn't jam if you're careful feeding single pages. Although the manufacturer says you can feed eight pages at once, feeding just one or two pages at a time with prevent jamming. Overall, owners seem to think the Staples shredder is fine if you keep your expectations realistic. It is not recommended for shredding CDs or DVDs but credit cards are okay.
