Perfect for Camping, October 16, 2009

I bought this item to use while camping in the fall in Michigan. It was very easy to assemble. It fits well in our RV. It provides a sufficient amount of heating and the 1 lb propane lasts for at least 6 hours. It cools within 15 minutes so that it can easily be transported following use. It is stable and so there is little chance of it falling over.

Toasty little heater, January 12, 2009

This is a great little heater for still, cool (45-55 degrees) evenings. We live in Central Texas and have an open sided, covered patio. The heater gives out super heat when there is no wind and we rarely… have it on the "high" setting. We have used it on a small, side table and also on our outdoor dining table. It was very easy to assemble - took about 15 minutes - and it lit first time. Initially, we used the 1lb camping gas bottles but they run out quite quickly. We now have it connected to a 15lb BBQ bottle. The connector hose is very easy to take on and off and on the dining table you can thread the hose up through the umberella hole. Only complaint is that when you peel off the obligatory warning stickers, they leave a sticky mess on the stainless steel body which is hard to remove. It has definitely extended the life of our patio during the winter.
