If you want to avoid eating peanut butter made with partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, Skippy Natural Creamy earns the most praise in taste tests. Although testers in one blind taste test praise the "super-smooth" texture, it isn't quite as thick as the top-rated Skippy Creamy (*Est. $2.40 for a 16.3-oz. jar) . However, reviews at Food & Wine magazine and GrubGrade.com compliment the thickness, which isn't too sticky. Adults seem to like the "toned-down sweetness" of Skippy Natural Creamy, although it has the same amount of sugar as regular Skippy Creamy.

The best review of Skippy Creamy Natural is at Cook's Illustrated magazine. It's also a standout in a blind taste test at SeriousEats.com. Less formal reviews are at GrubGrade.com, TheWateryGourmet.com and Food & Wine magazine.
