The Timex Ironman Fitness Tracker is a feature-packed pedometer that comes with a wristwatch monitor for easy viewing of step totals and other data. A waist-clipped pedometer tracks steps, calories and distance; and then wirelessly transmits the data to the matching watch. This Timex boasts five interval timers, alarms and a backlit display. Most owners say it is accurate, even while jogging. However, some find the pedometer a little too sensitive when it comes to everyday movements, which can result in inflated step counts. It comes in black, in addition to light blue and pink, but men may find the watch too small. If you prefer to spend less, the Omron GoSmart Pocket Pedometer HJ-112 (*Est. $25) is favored by experts and owners.
We found the best reviews of the Timex Ironman Fitness Tracker in the Los Angeles Times, About.com and SNEWS. The Los Angeles Times only provides a brief overview of this pedometer, but the review at SNEWS is detailed and balanced. About a dozen users review this watch-monitor pedometer at Amazon.com.
