If you demand deep blacks and can live with colors that look great, but are a little less accurate, the Panasonic TH-50PZ85U (*Est. $2,000) might be worth considering as well. A 58-inch version, the Samsung PN58A550 (*Est. $2,760), is also available, and experts say it should perform comparably.
