Twenty percent smaller than standard play yards, the Graco Travel Lite Crib (*Est. $80) is perfect for small spaces and for traveling. Reviewers say the small dimensions of this playpen make it convenient for use as a bassinet next to a parent's bed. After the baby is too big for the bassinet, it converts to a play yard that can be moved easily thanks to wheels on one side of the base. The Graco Travel Lite Crib comes in seven patterns and features a canopy with soft hanging toys to shield light and provide entertainment for an infant. On the downside, it sits low to the ground, and some reviewers complain of back strain from leaning in to pick up a child. Although it is designed to be small, some reviewers say the sleeping area quickly becomes too small. The Graco Pack 'n Play with Automatic Folding Feet (*Est. $70) is a standard-size crib that offers the same features, but isn't as easily portable as this smaller version.
ConsumerReports.org includes the Graco Travel Lite Crib in its latest roundup of play yards. Each of the six models tested are rated in terms of ease of use, portability and safety, while the bassinet attachment is given a separate rating for those models that have this feature. The book "Baby Bargains" also covers the Graco Travel Lite in the latest edition, which includes detailed coverage of play yards in general, as well as specific recommendations for models in various categories. One family tests and rates this play yard for Canadian Family magazine, saying it works great in their small condo. Review Credibility: Very Good Consumer reviewers on Amazon.com gave the Graco Travel Lite Crib an average of 4.3 out of 5 stars, in more than 20 reviews. The crib is great to place by the bed when baby is a newborn, reviewers say. It moves easily from room to room because it is on wheels and fits through doorways . The crib is easy to assemble and converts from bassinet to crib and play yard, but some owners say the mattress is too thin and hard. Others note the crib is too small and their children outgrow it quickly.

Review Credibility: Very Good Receiving 4.1 out of 5 stars based on a handful of reviews, the Graco Travel Lite Crib is praised as being well built and easy to assemble. A reviewer says she wanted a bassinet and a pack and play and was thrilled to get both in one. Another says the size suited her needs better than a full-size crib. She also likes being able to wheel it from room to room. The canopy hood is a little difficult to assemble, some say.
