This 11,500-Btu model removes all condensate through the main exhaust hose, so there is no need to empty out a water pan. The Sharp can also be used as a dehumidifier and as a three-speed fan. The unit includes a remote control with temperature display, but you should be aware that this remote is the only way to control the Sharp air conditioner; there aren't any controls on the unit itself.
